MRO and Certified Toxicologist

The Medical Review Officer (MRO) is a physician that is outside and separate from the laboratory. Their duty is to review and interpret all DOT drug tests for validity. They check for false positives that may have been caused by medications or an accepted medical condition. The MRO also communicates with the donor on any questions that may arise about testing results. All DOT drug tests are received and signed by the MRO.
